Captain Pakistan

My son had an idea for a comic book and I saw it as an opportunity for the two of us to have some fun and we started writing it. This book is a parent-child collaboration and is intended for parents and children to read together. It is written so it can be enjoyable for both age groups and most importantly contributes to the parent-child bond. As it did for us.

This book is my son, Ibrahim’s brainchild. When he was introduced to Captain America (also Captain Underpants :P), two years ago, he kept badgering me that we need to have a Pakistani superhero… why can’t we have a muslim superhero. This was way before Ms. Marvel. To get him off my back, I told him to make one up yourself. And he did. Not only that, he developed a whole list of characters.

We’ve kept the theme of Pakistan prominent since Ibrahim would not have it any other way, and while the book is mostly entertainment there are some significant values spread here and there.
